Well today was my weigh in. My last official weigh in was 2 weeks ago at 177. Today I was 172! Yes! That means so far I have had a 23 pound loss from Body Revolution. Let's see if this last week can make it a 25 pound loss.
Well. I am here again. Here as in blogging again. But here as in, overweight and unhappy, again. How many times will I go up and down with my weight? I was in the best shape of my life a year and a half ago. But so many things have stressed me out lately and I have had health issues. I haven't been as motivated to eat right or exercise. I haven't been consistent with any one thing. I go through this awful cycle of wanting to get in shape and having these ideas of what diet or exercise program I'm going to do, then do it for like a half a week and then get bored with it or totally hate it and so then I quit. Then the next month, I choose a different diet and a different workout program. And I quit. I can't get back into going to the gym. It's too expensive right now and I don't have the time to go with homeschooling and working from home. I also don't have the motivation to go unless I know a friend is going too. I always think back to when I first started th...
So this post I will edit all the time to include the calories that I have burned with each exercise in Jillian Michaels Body Revolution . I use a Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor . I highly recommend it! I have tried several other heart rate monitors and they always messed up, but I have had only positive things to say about the Polar FT4. It's affordable and CUTE! But please understand each person will burn a different amount depending on their own stats and how hard they workout. But I keep seeing people ask how many calories are burned during Body Revolution, so this is what I burned! For reference, I am 5'3" 187 pounds now, started Body Revolution at 195. I will break it down by phase, then by week, then under the weeks I will list the six workout days and the calories burned in each. The first week added extra cardio each day. Phase 1 Week 1 (kickstart week with extra cardio each day) Workout 1: 300 Cardio 1: 322 Workout 2: 319 Cardio 1: 31...
Yesterday was my last day of Body Revolution Workout 10. By the end of it I was sweating so much. Mostly my arms. My arms were dripping sweat. What a great workout! My BodyMedia FIT says I burned 174 calories, which is better than the last time I did it. Check out my yummy breakfast. A banana and half a toasted English muffin topped with edamame hummus and an egg with cherry tomatoes and spinach. Ugh it was SO GOOD and the whole breakfast was just over 300 calories. Did I mention how GOOD it was? I have an obsession with hummus. It's serious. The other day at trader joe's I picked up some edamame hummus and omg. It was almost better than chickpea hummus. Almost. I had an AWESOME day yesterday. I burned a ton of calories just from moving more. The kids and I went to Farm Fresh and Walmart to get a few things. I needed avocados and had to buy some edamames to make hummus... you know, cause the container I bought the other day from Trader Joe's mysteriously disappeared... alr...
