I got my workout done today! I'm so proud of myself for keeping up with this while I'm on vacation! I'm super busy but just wanted to share this good news!
I read your blog in one day. I wanted to say keep up the good work! I get my kit on Monday. I've lost 90 pounds so far, and I have another to 50 to go, I can't wait to start. Keep at it!
Well. I am here again. Here as in blogging again. But here as in, overweight and unhappy, again. How many times will I go up and down with my weight? I was in the best shape of my life a year and a half ago. But so many things have stressed me out lately and I have had health issues. I haven't been as motivated to eat right or exercise. I haven't been consistent with any one thing. I go through this awful cycle of wanting to get in shape and having these ideas of what diet or exercise program I'm going to do, then do it for like a half a week and then get bored with it or totally hate it and so then I quit. Then the next month, I choose a different diet and a different workout program. And I quit. I can't get back into going to the gym. It's too expensive right now and I don't have the time to go with homeschooling and working from home. I also don't have the motivation to go unless I know a friend is going too. I always think back to when I first started th...
Today I turned 30. Wow. I can't believe it. Well I had a pretty good day. It was a cardio day. But I decided to look around on YouTube for some good cardio videos. I found a great channel and did a few cardio workouts. My eating was great... until the cake. I had a bit too much cake. But I feel okay about it because I did so much exercise today and tomorrow there will not be cake. Moderation, right? I'm halfway through week 2 of Body Revolution. I know it's silly but I already feel my body changing. It feels stronger and leaner, and I know it's really just in my mind right now, but it's still motivating. I lost 4 pounds since last week! I'm very excited about that. I can't wait to see what kind of loss I'll see this week!
I have seen many people ask if they can do Jillian Michaels Body Revolution while they are pregnant. The obvious response is to discuss all diet and exercise plans with your doctor! Always, always, always check with your doctor. But if you want my personal opinion, Body Revolution is just not meant for pregnancy. There is a lot of ab work during the workouts and a belly would make that difficult. A lot of the strength and cardio moves are do able, but the big question is, why would you want to do Body Revoltuion during pregnancy? Sure exercise is important to maintain health while you are pregnant, but your body is changing in an awesome way during pregnany. Just enjoy that time, and worry about getting your body "revolutionized" after your baby is here and you are cleared for exercise. That way you can focus all your energy on getting your body in shape. It just doesn't make sense to buy a body changing program when you can't give it your all. But please don't d...
